Description & Responsibilities

The Digital Transformation Team is looking for a talented UI Designer.

You will be responsible for the ideation, design and continuous improvement of the user interfaces related to the web and mobile applications coordinated by the Team and by the Public Administration.

We’re looking for a talented professional with a portfolio of previously developed projects and a proven track record in recognizing limits and opportunities provided by the most important front-end technologies.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience as a UI designer with a portfolio of previously developed projects containing hybrid and native applications, single-page/headless web apps, mobile-first responsive web sites
  • Strong experience in the use of Sketch
  • Knowledge of the Figma and Adobe XD framework
  • Experience in the design and export of SVG files, optimized to be embedded into HTML and animated with CSS and Javascripts files
  • Experience in the use of icons and icon generators based on web font or SVG sprite
  • Experience in the recent implementations of CSS3 (flexbox, css grid, 3d transform, etc..), HTML5, Javascript, etc.
  • Experience in the design and maintenance of projects based on complex design frameworks like Google Material Design, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, etc.
  • Knowledge of the particular characteristics of the following frameworks of front-end development: Bootstrap 3, 4, React, AngularJS, etc.
  • Knowledge of the user centered design approach and natural ability to focus on the user experience
  • Experience in at least one of the following prototyping platforms: InVision, Marvel, Moqups, UXPin
  • Experience in at least one of the following hi-fi prototyping tools: Principle, Framer, Flinto or similar
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills and ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly
  • Ability to carry on the development of projects independently

Education

  • MS degree in Design, Engineering, Computer Science or related quantitative field with +5 years of experience in UI (not only graphic) design or, in the absence of a degree, +7 years of experience in UI (not only graphic) design
  • Proficiency in English
